Making the Most Out of Life: Television Documentary

In 2001 Russ Kisby learned that he had mesothelioma, the asbestos cancer. He was approached by Rob Petch, of Cormana Communications to see if he would be willing to have his experience documented. Russ and his family agreed to the making of this documentary in the hope that it would be helpful to others facing a diagnosis of cancer.

The documentary, "Making the Most Out of Life", is a story of Russ’ struggles and personal determination as he faces a terminal disease. It explores the impact of mesothelioma on Russ and his family, how treatment and medical choices affected his life, and the importance of remaining active during illness. Viewers are given an intimate and emotional view of both Russ and his family, as they prepare for his chemotherapy, radiation and high risk surgery, and later, as they move forward with new found hope. This is a story of optimism in the face of true hardship!
